Overall thoughts from my first read: Action, nice! I'm not entirely sure who the senator is at the start. Not really sure if this is meant to be Samuel or if he is having a prophetic dream or something? I feel like it might be the latter. Or is this a past experience he had, which also seems likely given the lines on the second page. I'd kind of like more clarification on "The entire room filled with fire and the various supernaturals came to claim their servants." specifically with "the supernaturals" and the "rightous duty" that you referred to in the following line. "She is me. I fear her though." she? who is she? why is she you? is 'she' the lady you killed two chapters ago? Who do you fear? I don't think I ever get clarification on this so that's kind of annoying. I want to know who she is. "He looked around, sensing those who couldn’t sleep." Samuel can just sense people and whether or not they are sleeping? thats a pretty crazy and cool power for a leader to have.... how'd he get it? I'm kinda interested in that actually. "Come see me" yellow dialogue? and its in itallics? by the way, this should have a period. The paragraph underneath is moderately weird... Eyes poked out from the tent he was just in? and he didn't notice before? were they not there before, if so how did they get there? is this one of those "the supernaturals?" Why did Samuel avert his gaze from it? He hasn't really seemed like the type to back down like that so far in the story... "Can you hear me? I hear you." hm... im just going to assume that the orange-yellow voice is the same as the yellow text one before even though its a different color. and im also going to assume that the red one is Samuel speaking... or thinking? You should let me know who is speaking in the text. that'd be nice and make me happy as a reader. Or even just let me know if neither of them are him. [pt 1]

aaaand i didn't lose what i was typing, huzzah!
[pt 2] "Come here and stay put. I will go get what we need." why does samuel trust this voice? "Samuel moved back to his tent and grabbed a bag of the root" this makes me think of Primus and that weird bag I think he had? can't quite remember. "His guest turned a little bit as the light moved over her and then left the tent. The sleepless looked over at him, watching as he stepped towards them." Who is The sleepless. is that some sort of title? is this the tent-person/thing? Now I'm wondering is Samuel the orange text? I'm stil "There are a lot of you. Do you trust me?" Makes me think this creature might not be human... (maybe it really is one of these The Supernaturals).. sounds like the "lot of you" being referred to is either humans in general or humans in this camp. another note that im still really confused as to who is talking and why they are talking in the color orange. but hey, samuel's lines are pretty cool. "The gritting stopped, as Samuel slowly traced the symbols of the forgotten words “Rectus-Inimicitiae”. " This sounds like latin or something but im way too lazy to bother looking it up. "You are righteous, the disgusted hate in you shall burn and you will be warmed by it.” Samuel stated" aha! he is speaking in orange here! It'd be great if you could just. put this format up above and have the "Samuel stated" attached to one of the orange statements.

ending page: woah. lots of stuff going on here. so, the root went inside him? And he is... rubbing something on his face? is this face paint? The last line, in red, makes me want to read more. I'm wondering who this creature, and not how it can hear everything, but why it is appearing to Samuel and talking to him. Why is Samuel important to this being? "The axe dims, it reddens, and the eyes look forward at the Liberator. The Liberator moves to the next one and begins the cycle of rebirth with the next." this is a good ending line.
yeah i can
i wanted to finish with the at least initial stuff before rereading those things
1st: yes, that's better. I still don't know who the supernaturals are, but I understand why they have come
